Famous People!

I wrote to 2 famous people this week. Should I be feeling something different? I had to say something to Vincent Gallo about his Indie film "Buffalo '66". He looks a little like Joaquin Phoenix and has this rough sexiness about him that only someone like myself can really appreciate. However, after reading his writing I'm wondering if I haven't made a huge mistake. He has one section where he's actually auctioning himself off to any paying female with $100,000 on hand for the night. I'm sure this is a big joke but who knows. Men will have sex for free so... And then I saw that he had hand painted some $10 t shirts and was trying to auction them off for anywhere between $160 to $1100, you've got to be kidding me.

The next person I sent an email to is the author of "18 seconds". Supposedly, the title was written in reference to our short term memory before death. Supposedly right before we die, there are 18 seconds of short term memory which can be accessed by a pscyhic who can actually pick up on your energy. If you haven't read the book, I would strongly suggest it. And by accessing some of his information online, I found that there are at least 2 other books written as a sequel. That's fantastic!

But I was wondering just how many people must send their emails to people like this. Both were sent as compliments. But unfortunately, I hate to be viewed as a lower form of life and do not often waste my time from fear of being considered a "groupie". I'm not the kind of person who would approach someone and tell them how much I love their work. I would just think it and smile and say hello.
